Thou Shall Not Smoke in Public

As far as I know, this 'No Smoking in Public' has had its buzz years ago when people were prohibited to smoke in public. Obviously, it wasn't well implemented and people were burning lungs everywhere still.

Now, the campaign's been recycled, probably so that it would seem the government did something new by raising a failed project.

Everybody's prohibited to smoke in public. Period.

Oh wait backspace on that period. It would seem MalcaƱang is an exempted area. Wuuuuuttt? Why you ask? Basically, Noynoy Aquino is a smoker and he can't really let go of the vice. Thus, places where he normally stay are exempted to give 'the big guy' the privilege of getting 100% more nicotine that everybody else.

No Smoking says Noynoy

No Smoking says Noynoy! Thou shall follow!

Talk about role-modeling. How can people learn to respect this when they see the one implementing it still on to it. Which is why I still see a lot of smokers out in the public. Even policemen are smoking still.

A friend of mine says how he tried to buy cigarettes but was declined by the sari-sari store. At least people are trying.

Another friend of mine discusses how he deprived himself of smoking considering the announcements, but saw some policemen smoke just nearby in public, so he whipped out a stick or two and now he smokes again.

Remember how Noynoy promised he'd quit smoking during the election but pleaded the people not to let him stop on something that 'helps him think' considering he is President and he claims to need that? Now, it's a no smoking regulation where he's exempted.

Kind of like reminds me how he discourages his fellow politicians to not display any means of luxury then he goes to buy a Porsche and later on a private jet.

Oh and kind of like how he doesn't want to have his personal/love life talked about and how it pisses him off but the day after he talks about it himself. Yay! Talk about clarity.

But of course, he is 'the President.'
