We all know what shorteners are, yeah? They take a URL like http://abc.notoffline.com/xMkqlc&a to something like http://x.co/ken. This kind of ability to shorten is essential considering how we are all engaged in apps like Twitter which only give you a limited amount of characters to put in. But what if you'd be paid to use a shortening service?
Meet Nov.io where you Shorten Links and Earn Money. You shorten, share the URL, and everytime it's clicked, you earn. Nov.io claims that the ratio of earning is about $5 every 1000 successful clicks. There's also a part of the system that can grant you 20% of what your referrals earn.
I've checked it out and the downside is that your shortened URLs go through a portal that displays ads before displaying the actual content you intented to share. But hey, if you've got the time, and the number of followers who check out everything you share, then you might want to monetize that.
