It's surprising it's the very first time I received an email made to phish info for a local bank.
The subject goes:
SUBJECT: Account Suspended - [URGENT]
From RCBC - Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation
The body of the message then contains nothing more than a bad layout of scammy text as seen below.
However, RCBC clients might actually click on the link "http://www.rcbc.com," considering how it is the actual URL of RCBC but if hover the mouse over, you'll realize that this is just a mask for a link pointing to another cheap hosted site. If you still don't get how this works, this kind of websites deceive you into putting in your actual username, password, or any private info. The next thing you know, all your money might be out or your info's been utilized for all other nasty purposes.
Not because you're a banker on some other bank like BDO, Metro or such, doesn't mean you're safe. Eventually those kinds of phising emails will come too so remember, don't be stupid in the internet
