We all heard how our NAIAirports (NAIA - Ninoy Aquino International Airport) are considered to belong to the worst airports of the whole wide world. What to do... what to do.
Well, our government seems to have a knack on how the social media reacts. If it's in FB or Twitter, they'll work on it (now that it gained some attention). Sadly, that's how it is.
But enough of our flawed, corrupt, and rusty old system that continues to grow despite all the promises of whatever hypocritical administration brings.
If there's a great idea on how to improve our airports, I'd say first off, remove that ridiculous and ugly MOA-Globe-wannabe in front of NAIA3. That is just a shitty structure that's much of an eye-sore. (Will post a photo soon)
Then from there, how about adding some creativity as to how the airport should look and feel other than a building to pass through to get to the planes. Offer something like what Schiphol Airport of Amsterdam has done - the world's first Airport Park.
The airport holds a park that consists of an exterior space that could accommodate travelers when the weather's good. The indoor space, on the other hand, is designed to replicate the feeling of an outdoor park equipped with butterflies projections, sound effects of animals bicycles and children playing, as well as a number of park features like benches and logs and all. It also holds a couple of establishments to serve beverages and food. Of course, electric sockets to charge up on electronics won't be a miss. You even have the option to use a bicycle to generate the power you need. To boost eco-awareness, the venue utilizes the power of natural lighting alongside the use of LED lights.
Simply stating my opinion here on an idea the government could take. I think they should also add a roller coaster there... maybe a swimming pool as well.
What do you think?

That’s actually what I like about this government. They are so clueless so now they react to what’s all over social networking sites. At least now they know how to set their priorities straight. We need to help them with this by being pro-active online. Noon kasi kahit nasa dyaryo na lahat, ang bagal bagal pa rin ng reaction time eh.
Somehow yeah, it’s like society spoonfeeding the government itself… it’s kind of sad that they have to hear it via FB and Twitter for them to haul their fat asses of their chairs to, like, think of even putting the simplest of necessities. With or without these kind of social networking platforms, they should do their part. Props to @MMDA on Twitter though, I really love how they’ve utilized technology. At least that’s a good start on the bright side.
