More Appraisals with Estibot

Posted on by

When selling domains, you need to know what price to pitch in to your buyers. You don’t want to be way too high and scare the money away, nor you want to be too low and lose the potential. There are a lot of factors that affect your domains price value, but simple keyword domain assessment is one of the ways to go. One good, but not final and sure, way to assess your domains is via Estibot.

Estibot is one of the known domain name appraisal services out there that can give you five (5) free appraisals a day as a guest. To do more than five, you need to pay a subscription fee.

Honestly, I don’t have any plans to spend $19.95 a month to get some appraisals. Afterall, these appraisals are automated and it can really predict far off price tags than what’s realistic. But using Estibot can help you give an idea on how much potential value that domain really has.

Now it sucks to only be able to appraise 5 domains a day. But there’s a little trick on how you can appraise 9 daily.

Basically, when you visit Estibot.com, you get that screen where you type in one domain. Just type 1st domain in, click Appraise, take some info down if you need to, and press Back. Yes you have to press the back navigation button on your browser rather than clicking that “Appraise More” or “Appraise Another” button.

You go back and forth appraising domain one at a time for 4x. After the fourth time will be the time that you click “Appraise Another” button where you are presented a text area form to type in 5 domains. Just type 1 domain per line and you’re good! 9 domains appraised in the end.

If you badly need to appraise more, I advise you guys to try Valuate.com – another automated appraisal service which gives, I think, 10 free appraisals a day. Other than that, you can always get more personal thoughts and opinions regarding your domains in domaining forums.
