Hypocrite MMDA Enforcer Asks For Bribe

I came from this event the other day around the Cubao area. I'm not used to going around the area in E.Rodriguez so I had to ask for directions how to reach the highway. I went on to go where I was told - just follow the road and turn right on EDSA.

So I then came around the EDSA corner and upon posing to turn right, I was instantly flagged by the MMDA officer. My offense, according to the guy, was that it was a no-right turn space... I honestly did not see any sign and it was the only right turn space I could possibly take given the directions I had. And on another note, I haven't even turned right yet! I was just signaling and here comes the guy flagging me down instantly.

As I was arguing with the 'officer,' it just pisses me off to see so many cars turn right from where I was about to turn... FML. I don't get it. Further arguing led him to simply let me off with a warning, probably considering I wasn't from the area - my license showed that.

But guess what? Before letting me go, he hands over a folded piece of paper and says "sir kayo na po bahala ha"... I'm like... errr... I got nothing on me. He then puts on a face that's like a mix of sadness, disappointment, dismay, and diarrhea and then says in a high pitch voice, "ok sir next time matuto kayong tumanggap ng violation nyo ha!" looking as if he was robbed of his lunch money.

WTF you come flagging me down for something everybody's been doing, decide to let me go, and ask for bribe. Then when you get nothing out of me, you dare say I should learn how to follow the rules. FYL - yeah thats "Fuck Your Life". I think I was just a hot car at that moment, where he just picked on me hoping to get some dough for dinner or something. Kind of sad to realize that these guys are probably getting low pay to resort to such. If that was really a no-right turn, my bad. I doubt it though since everyone's turning right. But yeah, I'm just glad I got off free that time, it just ticks me off the way he tried to sermon on me despite what he tried to pull off.
