Have you Added Yourself to Google Plus?

As you may know, the latest Buzz is that Google's up to establishing its Social Networking site and hey, it's Google so it won't be such a bad idea.

The previous social networking attempt by Google failed (Google Buzz) IMO but this seems promising. Some features of G+:

Circles
You basically have the ease to group people by simple drag and drop. And hey, create as many circles as you like. By the looks of it, it's like the Twitter follow system wherein everybody can just 'add' anybody but here, you have the ease of categorizing people according to your preference.

Hangouts
Hangout is like a virtual chatroom that enables you to go face-to-face-to-face with people. Yeah it's like an easy conferencing via Skype... only free and inside a browser that will soon enough be accessible to third party apps.

Instant Uploads
It would seem that G+ is introducing an easier way to share everything from photos to videos up here. Haven't tried it just yet though. Google runs Picasa which is connected with your G+ account BTW.

Sparks
An idea you have in mind? Sparks aims to bring you related material towards your idea. I don't know how this would work too.

Huddle
This is an easy chat mode. You enter up a Huddle to talk to people concerned rather than one by one.

It's really much of a confusing state at the moment but it seems promising. All in all, people say G+ will become a compilation of Facebook, Twitter, Skype, and Flicker, all in one.

Oh and once you get your profile, be sure to get your username/nickname ASAP by going to http://GPlus.to . I don't think this is officially Google's shortener (though I could be wrong) but hey, it helps shorten the link towards a G+ profile. I got mine - GPlus.to/KOTAN! Ken and Kenneth were both taken by some guys who got in just before I did... damn... Oh well, it's the next best thing for me so yeah, +1 Me!

You can know more by taking a Virtual Tour of Google Plus.
