How to: Free Facebook for Sun Cellular Users

Posted on by

I just want to share that I am surfing Facebook while on the road via Sun and it’s free! Yup! Zero cost. You can enjoy this feature, exclusive for Sun Cellular users. How?

You basically do the following steps:

  1. You must be using SUN
  2. Activate your GPRS by texting “ACTIVATE” and send it to 2300
  3. Make sure your chosen internet profile in your phone is SUN WAP GPRS (NOT SUN MMS/SUN INTERNET)
  4. Make sure you enable packet data usage
  5. In your mobile browser, go to 0.facebook.com

If you just activated your GPRS, it may take a day to be enabled for your phone so just sleep it over and enjoy surfing the next day.

Note that it doesn’t cost to surf around 0.Facebook.com (that’s a zero) but standard rates will apply when you navigate out of that subdomain.
Also, images aren’t loaded so you can just basically do everything that does not have anything image-related. But hey, it’s a great free way to be connected while being mobile.

Open to both postpaid and pre-paid.

Enjoy!

I’ve been using sun postpaid Samsung Champ and have no problems accessing FBZero, the thing is my bills are crazy, so I called cust service, they said packet data must be on a manual mode. I checked my phone and there’s no manual settings for the packet data. any one who knows how?THANKS
