Enter the World of Starcraft

…almost. It’s much of an unofficial name for an unofficial game. It’s basically Starcraft in the form of WoW (World of Warcraft), all created by a team of SC hardcore fans, led by Ryan Winzell

And as expected, carrying the name “Starcraft” along with the feel of WoW, this got Blizzard’s attention. But hey, guess what? Instead of seeing Blizzard sue for everything possible like everybody does in the US of A, they decided to invite Ryan’s team over, agree that they shouldn’t carry any name that rightfully belongs to Blizz, and gave em some freebies. What a good heart Blizz has for their fans ;p

Anyway on the otherside, Riot Games wants to open the doors to these modding celebrities.

The “World of Starcraft” will continue its development but under a different name. via
