Prostitutes Offer Free Sex to Copenhagen Visitors

Prostitutes within the city are bound to offer free sex to the UN climate summit participants this December 7-18, 2009. This, as ridiculous as it sounds, is actually a protest against an anti-prostitution initiative by the Copenhagen city hall. Prostitutes in turn, counter that move by offering free sex.

The city was said to distribute postcards to Copenhagen's hotels stating "Be sustainable: Don't buy sex." These actual postcards that run through the hotels are now considered by prostitutes as a free ticket to their service.

"All delegates who come to Copenhagen for the world climate summit will be able to use the postcards for payment after making a request on our website," Moeller, of the Danish association for the defense of sex workers, said.

Prostitution is not illegal in Denmark and the offer is good only within the global summit duration.
