
Help If You Want to Lose Weight... really? |
This is the perfect time to gain a win-win situation for all you figure-conscious and metrosexuals out there. LOL. Just playing with my thoughts.Evidently, our country still needs a lot of help and volunteers to cater to the massive public that is in dire need of relief goods because of Ondoy (Ketsana). This is a great opportunity for all you diet and figure conscious peeps out there. Help out. The way I see it, it's a win-win situation. Get yourself involved and take part of the action that's been going on within the nation. Whether you be in packing or actual relief tending, you will work your body out through the process. Take the most important meal of the day and head your way out. If you decide on packing, then go on ahead and start as soon as you can. By the time you start, you are bound to a place that won't be much of a comfort zone. Don't expect any airconditioning there. Heat arises and you will eventually perspire so much it's like you're in a mild sauna. Body heat from so much of the people present will contribute to this as well. You will be packing and packing your heart out giving your body a repetitive motion of carrying small weights and carrying them around for quite some time. If you're not aware, you don't need 100kgs to work out. A good pattern with a little amount of weight that your body can make will give you a good exercise. Plus, your presence with all the goods will give you that fed up feeling of seeing these foods that you wont be that hungry or attracted to eat once you them soon. On the other hand, if you decide to go into actual distribution of goods to affected areas, you will be working most of the time. You will be so preoccupied of the thought of helping and seeing so many unfortunate people who suffer of hunger that your only thought would be help, help, and help. Your body will be so pumped up that you'd grow your body tired, yet still energized to do some charity work. Occasionally, this will push your body to its limits without you knowing it because you're too preoccupied thinking too much of things. By the end of the day, you will go to your own home, so comfortable and all. Chances are, you're too tired to even eat. Then again, if you've got the appetite, then you'll probably just grab a few bites and think of the so many people still starving out there. Sad in your own emo thoughts, you will hinder your meal time a bit and call it a night. It's a win-win situation. Despite the evidence of such a pityful situation, you cannot deny that fact that you have managed to get yourself involved and help out. You also gave a temporary source of relief and comfort to so many people more unfortunate than you. And yeah, like I said, you burned those carbs doing so. So get that lazy bum ass of yours from that oh so warm seat you've been sitting on for the past decade and help out. Lots of unfortunate people out there, lots of people to help and feed, lots of carbs for you to burn :)
PS: You shouldn't expect to lose 30lbs just doing this though. And yeah. No weight-loss guaranteed. LOL Tags:
