The Power of Referrals - Better than SEO

Webmasters have always been concerned on how their blog is existing and persisting with its audience. One way is via SEO.

Now us webbies like the fact that people come visit our website and view our content though it would be really hard for some of us to gather up the visitors we'd like to receive. Others do it for the money in such possibilities like Adsense, others do it as a hobby, and others do it for the fame. Either way, it all boils down to the idea that we all like the fact that people visit the website and appreciate what we do.

Search Engine Optimization is a great way to gather up those visitors and come over our pages. With this method, we maximize our site's potential and make it Search Engine Friendly. Web owners go through the miticulous process of making sure their content is original, keyword-rich, as well as have their wireframe and coding rigged to its best.

In the end, we hope to always have our websites pop up on the first search engine results page like Google or maybe even the now rising Bing. Then again, this kind of thing might become not as good as it is perceived as time flies by.

Having a Good Network Returning good Direct Traffic is Better than Relying on SEO

People nowadays are so into Social Networking Sites like Facebook and Twitter. All they ever do online is go log in the network and chat and see how many tags or comments as well as surveys they can have or receive. It is very noticeable that this is where people start sharing much of their finds online. Whenever they need to ask something, this is also the place to ask. Rather than find answers from studies online, people would rather ask friends that could better relate compared to a webpage that leaves no other impression or reaction. Friends then have the tendency to refer sites to their buddies out there. It's becoming more of a referral thing. The bigger network you have, the more possibility there is that your site would boom better than expected.

It's how other sites are becoming so much visited and favored on their own without any SEO in their hands in the first place. Referrals. I've read somewhere on the net that there's network composed of a limited number of well maintained blogs who carry a fair share of followers. They all have a good amount of readers that could easily appraise their referred sites (no matter how new) and refer these same sites in their own set of networks. The boom of these sites ponder within the search engines' fancy and these engines can easily recognize the new site's rep and consider it quite reliable and more as time goes further. It works the same way - the very source of traffic is referrals.

So yes, it does help to have a good amount of followers or friends or fans out there. Setting up a good network offline and further expanding them online is a good way to solicite people into your site. Daily updates and posts about your site entries is a good, cheap, and free type of publicity for your website. People will learn to visit your site directly once you learn how to tickle their fancy.

...What? You have 10,000 followers/fans/friends?? Then try the referral method. It will work wonders for your website traffic :)
