Another Hate Towards Aquino Propaganda

I don't really like the Aquino Campaign Approach... Using God and Celebrities is not much of a Good Mix, no? Not one bit.

It's just that, as I've mentioned in my previous article, it's always been like they've been sent by God and that pretty much sucks it all.

There was this recent activity within their campaign wherein a couple of celebrity figures joined in on their party and I heard Kris saying on the tube something like "We've been praying so hard for God to have Ate V join our party and it's been answered." Hhmmm... So many people must be jealous that you pray and your wishes get granted as fast, huh Kris? Bah, as if. You don't need prayers to convince people you're already acquainted with. In the firstplace most celebs are already obviously on your side and it's no surprise that these people who you say you're praying for will join your squad.

Well anyway, I've been hearing a lot of jingles lately, as well as seen some publicities here and there and I've got to let loose some hate out to two specific ones.

First would be the annoying TVC that features most celebrities from different networks as well as some individuals/civilians. They are all holding freaking torches. What is this, a torch relay? Running for the olympics, maybe? Oh I know... they're all out to get their pitchforks and hunt the ghost from Paranormal Activity (which is pretty freaky btw). No? They all look like a mob ready to hunt down a monster!

Second would be the radio jingle I hear every single damn day. I always hear the stupid lines "Walang Bahid, Walang Duda" in the song and I wonder, he has a clean record, but does that mean it's a good record? Noynoy has not really done any significant things at all, has he? He only became visible back when Cory passed and that's what catapulted his career towards the Presidential Run. And basically, that's all there is to it, no?

Oh and another thing about this shitty ad is the intro & outro of the jingle wherein there's this voice over saying something like "Sinagot na ang ating Panalangin" or "Snagot na ang Panalangin ng Sambayanan". Yet again, another stupid propaganda that screams "I am sent by God." Pathetic. I hate it!

Anyway I get the point, thinking about it, that there's this torch and the legacy to continue and shit but that's just it right? Is that all? I mean c'mon. We live in a different kind of society now. I understand Cory and Ninoy's part back then and I salute that but now... what have you guys to offer? What have you, Noynoy, aside from that always stuttering voice, goofy face and that receding hairline? ... not to mention a sister that makes all of your campaigns dramatic and full of color that's becoming too much of an obvious struggle to flower things up and make the scenes glamorous for you guys to be all starstruck.

The only good side of this is that Noynoy's got some pressure on his hands not to let down the Aquino name. But that pressure isn't gonna help any newbie come in the scene and turn things around. Imagine the standards you're gonna face.

I hope people don't get carried away with the thought that Noynoy really is God-Sent. I'd say go for Gibo or Manny (Villar not Pacquiao!) but that's just me. You guys aren't that stupid, are you?
