This Senator/Vice-Presidentiable Can't Follow Simple Instructions

A friend of mine is a flight attendant of a prominent airline here in the Philippines. One day, he had the Vice-Presidentiable on board and he had a couple things to say.

For a person to be a good leader, he/she must be a good follower, too. That’s how it is. How can you vote for a candidate vying to be a future leader, when little and simple regulations, he/she cannot follow?

THREE THINGS.

On our third leg yesterday, PR849 MNL-CEB, onboard was Vice Presidentiable Loren Legarda.

Simple rules apply for all airlines, I guess: CELLPHONES MUST BE TURNED OFF. After showing the safety video, the crew are to check for safety compliance. Our non-compliant passenger seated at 1K, Ms. Legarda, is still texting. It took three cabin crews to remind her to stop using her cellphone. We even had no idea if it was really turned off.

Basic rule also applies that, all should fasten their seatbelt securely, until the seatbelt signs have been switched off. Vice Presidentiable, while the seatbelt sign is still on, went her way to the lavatory.
