Joomla-Digg Problem

"This link does not appear to be a working link. Please check the URL and try again"

...Ok my nose was bleeding as I searched through the net trying to have a fix on this. Figuratively, of course!

Social Bookmarking has been a new trend and everybody seems to be into it. As a webmaster, it's a good way to engage in this kind of activity as well to improve SEO. To name a few, there's DIGG, REDDIT, and TECHNORATI.

Well anyway, if you're a Joomla user like me, you're bound to get those extensions - Modules, Plugins, Components - to further enhance your site. And if you carry (or want to carry) a blog, a commenting system is essential.

So yes, I was able to download a good plugin for social bookmarking on my articles. It seemed to be working fine. Then again, Digg doesn't seem to be interacting with my site very well. I tried multiple times trying to pass through my article, which I think is interesting, but ended up always getting the "This link does not appear to be a working link. Please check the URL and try again" error message.

I thought it was with the sef plugins that might be messing things up. So I looked high and low even made it through the some WordPress discussions. Finally, I was able to find a certain post that the user was also receiving this error and tried disabling and enabling extensions. I did the same and figured out it was YVComment. I don't really know why but I decided to put it out and exchange another commenting system for it. :/

Now if you're running Joomla and you have YVComment installed, chances are you are receiving a problem similar to mine. Try disabling it atm and hope that somehow resolves it.
