Would You Hack a Major Website for $10k?

Given the option to hack a major website in exchange for an amount summing up at least $10,000.00... would you do it?

I am a big fan of DJ Mo Twister and his radio show Good Times with Mo of Philippines' Magic 89.9 - Philippine Genius!. Being a big brother to my two younger siblings who still go to school, I manage to wake up early in the morning and listen to the only radio show I love listening to. Instead of going back to sleep after, I head to the pc to simply continue my listening session through online streaming.

Anyway, enough of the gay patronizing. What I'm here is to talk about a certain 'contest' that they're holding. The name of it is "THE KSP CHALLENGE". KSP simply stands for "Kulang Sa Pansin" (which simply means "Lack/Craving for Attention" when translated in English). You call somebody KSP when you refer to him/her as someone who always craves for attention... someone who loves the spotlight. And that's what the game is all about. The objective is simple, grab as much attention in order to promote and advertise their radio show and win PHP500,000.00 or roughly a bit over USD10,000.00. That's half a million Philippine Pesos! It's not like they need it that much. This is the top radio show in the Republic as of now. But since they have the money, they're giving it away.

In the website "THE KSP CHALLENGE," Mo has listed a couple of his things in his wishlist that would seem to be the best things you could ever do to instantly win that cash prize:

1. Call a rival radio station and when on-air, promote Good Times with Mo on Magic 89.9
2. Disrupt either Boy Abunda on the Buzz or Willie Revillame on Wowowee while they are live on tv by streaking across the stage with a signboard promoting the show (this is a HUGE score!)
3. Go behind a tv reporter while he/she is broadcasting live on air and while in the background, promote the show with either a signboard or a chest paint.
4. Hack into a major website and promote the show on the front page.
5. Get Philippine Airlines, Cebu Pacific, or any other airline to put a photo of Mo on one of their airplanes.
6. Make a low quality homemade tv commercial for the radio show and air it on a TV network.
7. Get them to be on the cover of a magazine.
8. Put ads of them all over the city ala Bayani Fernando MMDA tarps, or the other scumbag politicans that litter the city with their ugly photos.

Given these options, it would some that the only probable techie geek could ever do greatly on is Wishlist Item # 4, Hack into a major website and promote the show on the front page.

Now given the circumstances, are you willing to do such a prank... gag... gig... cybercrime... or whatever you like to call it to get that cash? LOL It's up to you. But as Mo has also stated in his post

"These are just a few that would score big points. Go and be bold! Dont forget to document and record your actions. The best way to not get arrested is by not committing a crime."

Let me just clear it that I am not encourage people to hack! LOL. It's just a crazy thought. I myself am still thinking of a good way to join this. It's instant $10k and half a mil in PHP! Anyway, I don't know if this is open to the international public. But hey, why don't you give it a shot. If there's anything you can do to surpass the expectations, and if you're brave enough to face any possible circumstances, then do it! Good Luck... you need it.
