
ESET NOD32 Antivirus Mail Client Tag Message |
IMHO, ESET NOD32 Antivirus is the best one out there. It's lightweight, up-to-date, and just so damn accurate in catching those viruses. But it appends a tag message on my e-mail!If you use a mail client like Thunderbird, Outlook, or whatever's out there along with ESET, you might have already noticed a tag done by ESET at the bottom of every mail sent and received. It goes something like The message was checked by ESET NOD32 Antivirus.
http://www.eset.com This is the default setting of the program appending virus checking info to the messages coming in and out. This can be removed though by changing the settings. Open up your ESET Window. Go to Set Up and find "Antivirus and antispyware" Under Email protection, click Configure Just change those Notification settings as you please. You can opt to disable those tags, enable them, or have ESET append them only to infected files. Other ESET Versions may have a different UI such as the case of the one at MyDigitalLife.info. Just toggle up, you'd surely bump into that configuration. Newer news items:
