Avatar Movie Sequel Coming Soon! |
I am not one of the few who let the chances of watching Avatar pass by and man do I wanna watch more of it! From the time this movie started airing its trailers I became giggly excited about watching it soon enough. And as it hit the movie houses and malls within the city, word got out that the movie was breathtaking and simply a must see.I remember my friend saying "did you watch Avatar?" and upon replying "not yet" he simply said "watch it in 3D or GTFO!" :)) Lol at that but I made sure I watched it in 3D via iMax (coz the Ayala theaters' normal-sized screen with those small 3D glasses wont ever suffice for such a movie). After watching the movie, I just sighed and wondered why I am not riding a fucking banshee and how I wish I can live to know of life on other planets existing. Well anyway, we all wanted a sequel and there's a subtle confirmation of that coming on the way. Who else could ever confirm it but James Cameron! Aint It Cool News had a Q&A with Cameron in Los Angeles and was able to fish in a very wonderful set of words. Upon asking if there would be an Avatar Sequel, Cameron simply answered four glorious words - "Yes there'll be another." YES! I wonder though what would be the next storyline for the upcoming 2nd (and maybe 3rd? a trilogy!?) movie. I've tried looking up things and Adam Rosenberg posted this entry regarding the confirmed Avatar sequel as well as theories on how the 2nd movie may flow. Would the next movie focus on an internal dispute between the Na'vis considering the movie showed so many tribes of them out there as if depicting human races? Maybe interstellar wars? A comeback of the human race? What would you like to see? I don't know... I just want another set of 3D glasses and maybe ride those mounts. Lol.
