Memorandum No. 1 FOR Noynoy Aquino |
Noynoy made his 1st SONA (State of the Nation Address) yesterday July 26, 2010 and it wasn't much of a heavy speech. More like a continuation of his inaugural speech IMHO.

People should realize the fact that up until now, Noynoy doesn't have a solid platform. More than just pushing the alleged criminal acts of the previous government is an okay thing to do but that isn't really what a President's supposed to do primarily, right? All I could ever hear from start up until now are the faults of the GMA reign that Noynoy continuously exposes and that's it.
If you ask me, the president is merely playing a blame game wherein he can simply put the blame on the recent government as to why his isn't functioning well. You can clearly see that the way he blames the lack of funds leading him to reason that there isn't much budget to toggle for any ideal project. Now the guy mentioned a few things about garnering the lost money that the previous government allegedly wasted. Then what? Nothing. Not a single idea given to us how he plans to progress our nation towards his promise of "no corruption no poverty."
When Typhoon Basyang entered our country and wasted our nation, he was out on a street party where he sang the night before and when interviewed blamed PAGASA for not telling him that the typhoon was already in our area of responisibility. When there was a water shortage, he blamed people concerned as to why he was not informed of the shortage. Now if you ask me, during GMA's reign, GMA would NOT have gotten away with such retarded answers. I'm wondering how this kind of negligence is being rubbed off of everybody's shoulders now. Even the media seem to be more interested in how he wears his glasses, and how he sings. What a joke.
Anyway, I found this doc online and it made me laugh. If you're sitting your ass not knowing the real deal and just calling for 'unity' despite the fact that there's nothing to unite about and no real program nor platform's been laid for the betterment of our nation, then go on ahead and read... then you might learn... even just a wee bit :P
This is in Filipino but I tried to translate this to English as fluently as possible. Any errors, please inform me :)

...It's not that I don't like him "period". It's more of I'd respect him if he'll bother to actually do change to this nation rather than stay in the past. Like many, I'd go and support him if there was a good plan to propel our republic forward, why not right? After all, he is the president and that'll be good for 6 long years. But as long as I don't see anything with regard to how he intends to progress towards the future, other than go back to the past and toggle crimes committed by the previous government, then there's nothing much to applaud about and I believe I am entitled to this opinion.
I want our nation to progress, to move forward into a brighter future. We all do. He should too. And when that moment comes, I can tell you that much more people will lend their ears, willing to support the move towards a better Philippines.
