Now you are the type of person who likes to put thoughts into words and end up writing great content that's very ideal to share. Utilizing the power of the internet, you stumble upon online journals and decide to use that method to share your articles with the rest of the world like all the other millions of people who can write like you. People come and go and you earn yourself a decent amount of visitors who come back over and over again reading your latest posts, finding interest in things you do. Now you'd like that won't you? Especially if you can earn money from doing what you like. Blogging has been what's making the waves recently through the world wide web in the field of money making. Bloggers would write content that would easily invite visitors to read on through the page and probably browse through the site if your content is good. This is what makes your blog potential in earning that extra income. How? Traffic + Advertisers = Your Extra Income. That simple.Traffic generation is the primary factor that leads any website into generating that revenue. There are many ways to earn that well-loved traffic such as optimizing your website for search engines (SEO), networking, paid ads, and more. However you do it, gaining that traffic is always a good thing. So how can you earn that money? There are a couple of ways to earn online with that traffic. Affiliate Marketing. Also known as a CPA (Cost Per Action) Program. Through this method, you would sign up for affiliate accounts with online shops such as Amazon.com. Through your site, you place specialized referral links that point to certain products your visitors might be interested in. If your visitors click on these links and buy from the online merchant, you earn a certain percentage on the sales that were made. There are also those affiliate marketing sites that bridge out between Advertisers and Publishers such as CJ.com and Clickbank.com. Affiliate Marketing is good to certain sites and blogs that really cater to a specific industry such as Photography or Books or anything that you can specialize in. Remember that if it's not your field, you might end up creating lousy content, which wouldn't entice your visitors to click your links and buy those products that you post.PPC/PPI. Refers to Pay-Per-Click and Pay-Per-Impression Programs. Both programs would require you to put an ad in your site. With Pay-Per-Click, you put those ads in your site and whenever visitors click it, you earn a certain amount. Pay-Per-Impression on the other hand simply refers to the number of times an ad is displayed. It's like a sponsor pays you a certain amount every time a visitor views your site with their ad displayed in it. Most famous program in this category is Google Adsense. Another method is simply by Advertising Spots. If your site earns that much wanted traffic, advertisers would soon enough come freely and message you showing interest in having their ad posted in a spot of your website. They pay a certain amount for having that ad for a respective number of days. The way a famous tv network gets those commercials and a radio having those ads, goes the same with your blog. And of course, Personal/Direct Selling. If you have your own product to sell and you have a good website that can sell your product, then go on ahead! If you have that decent amount of visitors who come back from time to time, then that shows some trust and favor on your part that could earn you those sales. ... oh and yeah. Donations. If you carry a good site that many people love, chances are they'll be loyal enough to support you by giving you certain amounts. This is done more commonly through Paypal. Nevertheless, if your donator is that much of a fan, then s/he will most likely come up with something to hand over you some goods. Remember that building a site up takes time and you can't get that wanted traffic in a day or a week. It takes a lot of effort if you really want to earn a good rep on the net until people start coming in. Most importantly, be sure that you like what you do and it's something of your interest. Trying to build a website that you have no interest in in the first place, is a sure step to failure. |
